Astera Books is run by Carolina Knight and Chris Ewing and has published the Felix and Everly's Mini Adventures chapter book series.

There are two new publications coming in 2026:

A Step in the Dark: 40 years in Latin America is a memoir by journalist Patrick Knight and chronicles his upbringing in Britain and his journey to and life in Latin America from the 1970s onwards. 

The Binding by C.S.Knight is a short read and is a story of connection, love, hope and loss. It follows 4 characters in Britain who have beloved pets and are faced with an impossible question. Would you shorten your life to extend theirs? Would you accept The Binding? 

Based in Northumberland, Knight and Ewing are author and illustrator respectively and you can find more information  and folios on their individual pages.
